Bright Light and Indigo Skies

London is a huge, very hectic city full of people and crammed with traffic, but London can also mean tranquility and lovely long walks. There are lots of parks all around the city where we can go to whenever we need an escape from all the madness. I decided to go to Hyde Park, in central London, for a little morning walk. Even though it’s pretty cold and winter is just around the corner, we can still enjoy the sight of fallen leaves and autumnal scenery.

Londres es una cuidad muy grande y ajetreada, con calles repletas de gente, tráfico,… pero Londres también puede ser sinónimo de tranquilidad y largos paseos. Hay muchos parques por toda la cuidad que suponen un descanso de todo el ajetreo y estrés. Hyde Park, en pleno centro, es uno de ellos y aproveché la mañana para darme una vuelta. Aunque el frío ya aprieta y el invierno está a la vuelta de la esquina, todavía podemos disfrutar de paisajes otoñales.

Turn it up right now

Every season has its key pieces: specific colours, textures or shapes that are in during a certain amount of time, but it’s always good to have clothes that never go out of date. Every wardrobe has to have that pair of jeans, blazer, or basic white top that go with everything and have endeless possibilities when it comes to combining them with other garments. The shirt that I’m showing you today is definitely one of those pieces. I’ve had it for a couple of years and I wear it both in the summer and the colder months. The print and the colours make it very easy to wear and combine, which is why it keeps getting out of my wardrobe and into the street all throughout the year!

A parte de las prendas específicas que corresponden o se llevan cada temporada, siempre viene bien tener “comodines” que no parecen pasar de moda y que nos pueden sacar del apuro en más de una ocasión. Todo buen fondo de armario tiene que contar con esas prendas esenciales, como nuestros vaqueros favoritos, una americana, o una camiseta básica que combinan con todo y tienen infinitas posibilidades. La camisa que os enseño hoy ya tiene unos cuantos años, pero la uso tanto en verano con unos shorts como en este tiempo con algo más de abrigo. El estampado y los colores que tiene hacen de ella una prenda súper ponible, de ahí que la siga sacando del armario temporada tras temporada.
