Aaaahhh...street style! Inspirational, fun,...so imagine so many fashionistas together for London Fashion Week all dressed to impress! The most spotted trends were beanie hats, wearing your jacket over your shoulders, leather, big jumpers, boyfriend jeans and chunky jewellery!
Un poquitín de street style, que siempre viene bien para inspirarnos! En una semana tan trascendente como la de la moda, todo el mundo se engalana con sus mejores looks (unas veces con más acierto que otras), y es una gozada poder ver a tanto fashionista en un mismo sitio. Las tendencias que más se vieron por Somerset House fueron los gorros de lana, chaquetas que se vuelven a llever por encima de los hombros, cuero, jerséis, vaqueros boyfriend, y joyas grandes y vistosas.
Work hard, play harder! So with my duties all finished, it
was play time! And I can’t think of a better treat than London Fashion Week! The
lovely sunshine, the welcoming atmosphere, and the amazing Somerset House were
the perfect ingredients for a more than memorable experience. Everyone dressed
to impress, some celebrity spotting...can’t it be Fashion Week every week?
You’ve already seen the skirt I chose to wear
for this first day. I can’t stop wearing it!! I combined it with a grey top
with leather-effect sleeves. Leather is having a comeback, in small details or
as a statement piece (mainly trousers), it's perfect to add a bit of attitude to any outfit!
¡No estaba muerta, estaba de parranda! (O algo
más o menos parecido) ¿Y qué mejor excusa que la Semana de la Moda de
Londres para volver por estos lares? El
solecito, un ambientazo increíble y un escenario de excepción, Somerset House
(si vais a la capital inglesa, no lo dejéis de visitar; las vistas desde la
terraza son increíbles!), fueron los ingredientes necesarios para una experiencia
más que memorable. Modelitos de infarto, alguna que otra celebridad y mucho
buen rollo… ¿por qué no puede ser la Semana de la Moda todas las semanas?
La falda ya la conocéis, la uso
un montón porque me tiene enamorada y es súper cómoda. Esta vez la combiné con
una camiseta gris con mangas efecto piel, que vuelve a ser tendencia (yo todavía
conservo mis leggins de vinilo que tanto furor causaron hace unos años, otra
cosa es que todavía quepa en ellos!)
First of all, I want to wish everyone a very happy 2013! Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve and is fulfilling their resolutions! This is my last post from Spain :( I'm going back to London on Sunday, and seeing that the new year decided to recieve us with sunny days, we headed off to the beach to make the most of it. Assuming that I was going to end up covered in sand, I went for a comfy look: jeans, a loose denim shirt and my very old pair of Converse. Special thanks to my friend Carmen who went behind the camera (I hope you decide to go in front of it someday!)

Este es mi último post desde España, me vuelvo a Londres este domingo (lo bueno pasa rápido) :( pero viendo que el 2013 nos ha dado la bienvenida con un solete maravilloso aprovechamos para bajar hasta la playa. Asumí que acabaría con arenas hasta en el DNI, así que opté por un look cómodo: vaqueros, camisa holgada y el par de Converse más viejo que tengo (que es también el más cómodo). Muchas gracias a mi amiga Carmen por hacer de fotógrafa, espero que algún día te animes a ponerte delante de la cámara!
So, the last day of the year is here! When this day comes we tend to take a look back at the last 12 months and think of all the things that have happened to us, both good and not so good, people we've met, experiences we've had,... I just hope all of you enjoy the last night of 2012 and make the most of 2013!

¡Pues ya está aquí el último día del 2012! Cuando llega este día solemos echar la vista atrás y dedicar unos momentos a pensar en todo lo que nos ha ocurrido, lo bueno y lo no tan bueno. Sea como sea, espero que el 2013 esté repleto de cosas buenas. Odio los tópicos, y esto empieza a parecer una tarjeta de navidad así que solamente me queda desearos una muy buena salida y entrada de año! :)
Okay, so New Year's eve is just days away, does everyone have their outfits ready? I don't know about you, but I sometimes get the feeling that some outfits seem incomplete without jewels, we need to spice things up a little bit, and New Year's is the perfect time for that. If what we are going to wear already has some sort of decoration, the key is to keep it simple, but if not, then to team it up with some chunky jewellery is the perfect way to glam it up. Just in case you are looking for some last minute ideas, I've put together a selection of jewels that might inspire you.
No falta nada para Nochevieja ¿tenéis preparados vuestros modelitos? No sé si a vosotros os pasa lo mismo, pero a mi muchas veces me da la sensación de que un conjunto no está completo si no le añadimos joyas de algún tipo. Es una forma divertida de darle vidilla a nuestro look, y la noche del 31 es perfecta para eso. Si lo que os vais a poner ya tiene alguna decoración o abalorio, la clave está en no recargar el look con joyas muy grandes u ostentosas, pero si por el contrario optamos por un look más minimal, unos complementos vistosos son perfectos. Por si acaso estáis buscando ideas de último minuto, he seleccionado algunas joyas que os pueden servir de inspiración.

Today I'm wearing one of my favourite jumpers, I can't belive it's taken me this long to show it to you! I love the shape, the fit... and nothing says Christmas like red!

¡Muy feliz navidad a todo el mundo! ¿Qué tal se ha portado Papá Noel este año? Espero que todos estéis pasando un día maravilloso ya sea en casa con la familia o lejos; lo importante es saber apreciar las cosas buenas que tenemos y olvidarnos de lo malo :)
Hoy llevo uno de mis jerséis favoritos, no me puedo creer que haya tardado tanto en enseñarlo! Adoro la forma que tiene, como sienta... y su color! Al fin y al cabo, el rojo es el color de la navidad por excelencia!
