Aaaahhh...street style! Inspirational, fun,...so imagine so many fashionistas together for London Fashion Week all dressed to impress! The most spotted trends were beanie hats, wearing your jacket over your shoulders, leather, big jumpers, boyfriend jeans and chunky jewellery!
Un poquitín de street style, que siempre viene bien para inspirarnos! En una semana tan trascendente como la de la moda, todo el mundo se engalana con sus mejores looks (unas veces con más acierto que otras), y es una gozada poder ver a tanto fashionista en un mismo sitio. Las tendencias que más se vieron por Somerset House fueron los gorros de lana, chaquetas que se vuelven a llever por encima de los hombros, cuero, jerséis, vaqueros boyfriend, y joyas grandes y vistosas.
Work hard, play harder! So with my duties all finished, it
was play time! And I can’t think of a better treat than London Fashion Week! The
lovely sunshine, the welcoming atmosphere, and the amazing Somerset House were
the perfect ingredients for a more than memorable experience. Everyone dressed
to impress, some celebrity spotting...can’t it be Fashion Week every week?
You’ve already seen the skirt I chose to wear
for this first day. I can’t stop wearing it!! I combined it with a grey top
with leather-effect sleeves. Leather is having a comeback, in small details or
as a statement piece (mainly trousers), it's perfect to add a bit of attitude to any outfit!
¡No estaba muerta, estaba de parranda! (O algo
más o menos parecido) ¿Y qué mejor excusa que la Semana de la Moda de
Londres para volver por estos lares? El
solecito, un ambientazo increíble y un escenario de excepción, Somerset House
(si vais a la capital inglesa, no lo dejéis de visitar; las vistas desde la
terraza son increíbles!), fueron los ingredientes necesarios para una experiencia
más que memorable. Modelitos de infarto, alguna que otra celebridad y mucho
buen rollo… ¿por qué no puede ser la Semana de la Moda todas las semanas?
La falda ya la conocéis, la uso
un montón porque me tiene enamorada y es súper cómoda. Esta vez la combiné con
una camiseta gris con mangas efecto piel, que vuelve a ser tendencia (yo todavía
conservo mis leggins de vinilo que tanto furor causaron hace unos años, otra
cosa es que todavía quepa en ellos!)
The Big Ben, the London Eye, Tower Bridge,… one of the great things of living in London is that you can visit these iconic places whenever you want. I was feeling particularly touristy, so I decided to pay a visit to some of the most important buildings and monuments, which never fail to amaze me no matter how many times I go. Starting my visit at the Big Ben, I then walked along the Thames and stopped by equally amazing places like St. Paul’s Cathedral or Somerset House. Not even a grey and windy day could ruin such a lovely walk!
El Big Ben, el London Eye, los puentes,...vivir en Londres tiene muchas ventajas, pero una de las mejores es que puedes visitar lugares increíbles las veces que quieras. Hacía ya tiempo que no me pasaba por algunos de ellos, así que con el modo turista on decidí darme un largo paseo por el Támesis y hacer algunas de las paradas obligatorias: la Catedral de San Pablo, Somerset House,… un paseo tan bonito que ni siquiera un día gris y con viento lo puede estropear!
